1. Springtime Peanut Butter Dog Treat Recipe
The sun has started to show itself and we can’t wait for dog-happy springtime memories. So, we have put together the pawfect dog treat recipe for a truly tasty doggy picnic in the garden!
Ingredients
- 2 cups oats
- ½ cup peanut butter (ensure it is dog-friendly and does not contain xylitol)
- 3 cups sweet potato flour
- 2tbsp olive oil
- 2tbsp honey
- Water
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Mix the peanut butter, olive oil and honey together
- Add the oats and flour
- Roll out the dough and cut out the biscuits – be as creative as you like!
- Place on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes
- Leave to cool
Dog Happy Icing
Ingredients
- 4tbsp sweet potato flour
- 2tbsp water
- Dog friendly food colouring (optional)
Method
- Mix the flour and water until smooth
- Divide icing into bags (sandwich bags work!)
- Add a drop of food colouring (you don’t have to add this)
- Squeeze all the mixture to one corner of the bag and snip the end
- Drizzle this over your delicious biscuits
- Enjoy!
2. Easy (no bake) Easter Nests Dog Treat Recipe!
Ingredients
- A selection of your four-legged friend’s favourite treats (we recommend Laughing Dog treats of course!)
- Dog-friendly peanut butter (ensure it does not contain xylitol)
- A splash of warm water
- Easter-themed cupcake cases
Method
- Break up your selection of treats and mix and match these into your cupcake cases
- Add warm water to your dog-friendly peanut butter for an icing consistency
- Drizzle the peanut butter mix over the treats
- Leave to cool and dry
- Enjoy!
