Did you know that last week was Zero Waste Week? Celebrated across the whole of the UK, this topical week is aimed at increasing everyone’s awareness of the environmental impact our waste makes and how we can reduce waste.

We pride ourselves on ensuring that our packaging is of the very best quality to keep your four-legged friend’s food as fresh and tasty as the day it was made. While our cardboard sleeves from our wet foods, our grain free oven baked treat boxes and our mixer meals bags are made in 100% recyclable packaging, we are passionately committed to doing more and have even recently changed from black trays to white for our wet food recipes.
We use as many of our own ingredients as we can – in our Wonderfully Wheat Free completes we use our own farm-grown oats and barley.
We make all of our baked completes, treats and mixer meals from start to finish in our own farm bakery. Absolutely everything we produce is made in Britain!
Did you know that we have a solar farm? We are continually developing the farm and currently are able to save over 400 tons of carbon a year!
We manage our farm hedgerows to encourage wildlife, minimise our use of artificial fertilisers and improve our quality of our soil through crop rotation. We also have wild flower borders for our bees and butterflies!
Join our recyclability challenge
When you receive your special Laughing Dog delivery you will spot that it arrives in a sensibly sized cardbord box and the contents are wrapped in a brown paper rather than using any plastics. But what do you do with your box once you’ve emptied it of its goodies? Storage? Or something more creative? We know one of our customers likes to make toy racing cars (for their children of course!).
